Upscaling increases the resolution and detail of an image. Use it to take a generated or uploaded image up to print or hero-banner quality.

Basic and Magnific upscaling

• Basic upscaling enlarges an image at a low credit cost, good for everyday use.
• Magnific upscaling offers higher-quality, detail-rich results for a higher credit cost. Each Magnific operation costs 10 credits.

Magnific gives you a choice of engine and a domain optimizer tuned to your subject:

• Engines - Illusio, Sharpy, Sparkle, or Automatic.
• Optimizers - Portrait, Art Illustration, Videogame Assets, Nature Landscape, Film Photography, 3D Render, and Sci-Fi Horror.

The exact credit cost is shown before you run, and Magnific costs more than basic upscaling.

Where to upscale

Upscale a result directly from the image tools, or add an Upscale node inside a workflow so every run finishes at full resolution automatically.

Common uses

Upscaling is useful for print-ready product shots, large hero banners and billboards, and cleaning up older or low-resolution images before they go into a campaign.
