What is included in every plan?
Every plan includes the templates, the workflows, the apps, your brand and the assets. Plans differ on credits, result quality, licensing and seats.
What are AI credits?
Credits are the currency for AI generations. Each operation uses credits based on complexity. Images use fewer credits; videos and advanced features use more.
How many credits do I get?
Credits depend on your plan. The plan cards above show the monthly credits for each plan, and the table lists what every plan includes.
What does each generation cost?
Every run shows its cost in credits before you press Run. The cost depends on the steps and the models in the workflow. A video costs more than an image, and a long clip costs more than a short one.
Do unused credits roll over?
No. Your plan's credits reset each month on your billing date, and unused ones do not carry over. Credits you buy in a credit pack last for 12 months.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. When you create a new account on a paid plan, you get a 7-day free trial. You add a card to start it. The trial includes a small number of credits. If you do not cancel before the 7 days end, the plan becomes paid and we charge your card.
What do I get during the trial?
You get every feature of the plan you chose, with a small number of credits. To get the full monthly credits during the trial, you can start the paid plan early. We then charge your card at once.
Will I be charged after the trial?
Yes. When the 7-day trial ends, we charge your card the price of the plan you chose. The plan then renews every month or every year until you cancel. To avoid the charge, cancel on the Account or Billing page before the trial ends.
Can I use generated content commercially?
Yes, from the Pro plan. Pro, Premium and Ultra include a commercial licence. You can use results in paid ads, product pages, marketing, social posts and client work. The two lower plans do not include this licence.
How can I pay?
We accept all major credit and debit cards through Stripe. Choose monthly or yearly billing. Yearly billing costs less, and the largest saving is 60%.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?
Yes. You can upgrade at any time, and the price is prorated. A downgrade starts at the end of your billing period.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. You cancel on the Account or Billing page, with no fee or penalty, and you are not charged again. Plans are paid in advance, and the time left in a paid month or year is not refunded. The terms of service explain what happens to your content when you cancel.
Can I get a refund?
In most cases, no. Plans are paid in advance, and unused time is not refunded. If a problem in DesignerBox stops you from using it, email contact@designerbox.ai and we will look at it. The terms of service give the full rules. Your legal rights as a consumer still apply.
How do I get help?
Email contact@designerbox.ai, or use the chat window on the site. Pro and Premium get priority support, and Ultra has a dedicated account manager.
Do I need Canva or CapCut as well?
For most brand and campaign work, no. DesignerBox has an image editor for stills and layouts, and a multi-track video editor with captions from speech, music and colour grading. Both open on the results you made, and both start on the Premium plan. For a large template library or broadcast finishing, keep a specialist tool for that job.
