One subscription for thirteen models
DesignerBox carries seven image models and six video models, each with its own credit cost per image. You pick a cheap model for volume and an expensive one for a hero shot. Editing, video, avatars, workflows and brand profiles sit in the same place.
See plans and creditsThe image and video models on this page are built by other companies. DesignerBox runs them under one subscription and prices each one in credits. DesignerBox does not train models of its own.
DesignerBox is one subscription for seven image models and six video models. It also covers editing, upscaling, avatars, workflows and the product apps. Each model has its own credit cost per image. Seedream 5 costs 4 credits and GPT Image 2 costs 22. You pick a cheap model for volume and an expensive one for a hero shot. Workflows and brand profiles hold one look across a team.
The case for DesignerBox
Six arguments, each one checkable on a page of this site.
Model routing
Seven image models sit behind one subscription. You pick the model per shot. A cheap model handles volume work. An expensive model handles the image that carries the campaign.
Credit cost per image
Each model has its own credit cost per image. Seedream 5 costs 4 credits. GPT Image 2 costs 22. You decide which one a given shot is worth.
One workspace
Generation, editing, upscaling, video, avatars and the product apps sit in one place. One asset library holds the output. You stop moving files between separate tools.
Repeatable treatments
A workflow saves a treatment once. You then apply it to a whole batch. Brand profiles and the brand asset library hold the same look across a team.
Agent and plugin access
DesignerBox runs an MCP server and a Figma plugin. An assistant can generate and edit through the MCP server. A designer can work inside Figma.
Five plans, stated in credits
Five plans run from $0 to $200 a month. Each one states its monthly credits and its storage. You spend those credits on whichever models you choose.
Image models and their credit cost
The cost per image, cheapest first, so you can match the model to the job.
Seedream 5
4 credits per image. That is the lowest cost in this list, so it suits volume work. It accepts up to 10 reference images.
Kontext Multi
5 credits per image. It combines multiple references for a consistent character or style. It accepts up to 10 reference images.
Nano Banana 2
7 credits per image. It accepts up to 5 reference images. It also runs the image editor, including background swap and object removal.
FLUX 2 Flex
7 credits per image. It handles typography, retexturing and multi-reference editing. It accepts up to 10 reference images.
Nano Banana Pro
14 credits per image. It accepts up to 5 reference images. It runs the image editor too, with style transfer, outpaint and object insertion.
GPT Image 2
22 credits per image. That is the highest cost in this list, so keep it for the shot that carries the campaign. It accepts up to 4 reference images.
Model choice per job
FLUX Pro 1.1 is the seventh image model in the catalogue. Video runs on six models. They are Veo 3.1, Veo 3.1 Fast, Sora 2 Pro, Seedance 2.0, Kling 2.6 Pro and Runway Gen-4.5. The rule for picking is the same on both sides. Use a cheap model while you are still deciding what the shot should look like. Move to an expensive model once the composition is settled. A single-model tool cannot offer that choice. The cost of every image is fixed by the one engine behind it.

Steps to pick the right model
The routine that keeps the credit bill down.
One workspace against a stack of tools
A stack of point tools costs more than the sum of its subscriptions. Files move between products by download and upload. Each tool keeps its own copy of an asset. The look drifts, because every tool has its own defaults. DesignerBox puts generation, editing, upscaling, video, avatars and the product apps in one place. One asset library sits behind all of them. Brand profiles carry voice, themes, content goals, niche and industry. One profile is active at a time, and the active profile applies to AI generation. The brand asset library holds the logos, the fonts and the palette swatches beside it.

Plans and monthly credits
FREE costs $0 a month and gives 112 credits with 10 MB of storage. BASIC is $15 a month for 500 credits and 500 MB. PRO is $35 a month for 1,000 credits and 2 GB. PREMIUM is $75 a month for 2,500 credits and 10 GB. ULTRA is $200 a month for 8,000 credits and unlimited storage. Every paid plan starts with a 7-day trial that asks for a card. The model you pick decides how far a month of credits goes. An image on GPT Image 2 costs 22 credits. The same image on Seedream 5 costs 4.
Cases where DesignerBox is the wrong choice
Four cases where another product serves you better.
One model and nothing else
Some people use a single model and never touch editing, video or brand tools. Buy that model directly. Here you would pay for a catalogue you do not open.
Human retouching in the price
DesignerBox does not include retouching by a person. If your images need a human pass before they publish, keep your retoucher or your studio.
A direct store connection
DesignerBox does not connect to any store or marketplace. You download the finished files and upload them yourself. A native connection is a different product.
A large free allowance
The free plan gives 112 credits a month. That is eight images on Nano Banana Pro. Steady output above that needs a paid plan.
Pages behind each claim
Each link opens the page that shows the thing rather than describing it.
Models
Every image and video model in the catalogue, with the credit cost and example output for each one.
Apps
The single-purpose tools: background remover, photo angles, spotlight relight, styled scene generator, product ad generator and flat lay studio.
Workflows
Save a treatment once and run a batch through it. This is the repeatability argument, shown rather than stated.
Video generation
Six video models in the same subscription, alongside avatars and talking avatars.
MCP server
Connect an assistant to DesignerBox and let it generate and edit through your own account.
Figma plugin
Generate and edit inside Figma, so a designer stays in the file they are already working in.
Gallery
Real output from the models in the catalogue. Judge the quality before you pay for anything.
