What is a step?

A step is one piece of work inside a workflow: make a picture, change a picture, make a clip, send a result somewhere. A workflow is steps in order, and each step takes what the step before it made.

Which kinds of step are there?

Five: generate, transform, video, delivery and utility. Generate makes something new. Transform changes something you have. Video takes clips in and hands clips on. Delivery sends the result to Assets, to storage or to another system. Utility carries text, a photo or your brand record into the workflow.

Can I change the order of the steps?

Yes. You join the steps on the canvas, so you decide what runs first and what each step reads. Add a step, remove one, or move it, then save the workflow and run it again.

Which plan do I need for a video step?

Video starts on the Premium plan, and so do virtual try-on, upscaling and both editors. Image steps run on every plan.
