How to make one ad work in every size and language

Take one ad the client already approved. Rebuild it at every size and in every language you sell in. Each layout is drawn again, not stretched.

What you get

A taupe handbag with a new arrival and shop now caption set on the picture
A burger, fries and a bottled drink on a dark table, with a combo deal price on the picture
A teal drinks can with juice splashing around it
Tortoiseshell sunglasses on a pale surface beside a peach and pastel stones
Black over-ear headphones lit by a beam of light against a dark background

How it works

One ad gets approved, and then the real work starts. The client wants it in more sizes, in more languages and for more placements. Someone in your studio then moves every text box by hand. A square frame has no room for a headline written for a wide one. A stretched copy looks wrong. This recipe starts from the ad the client already approved. It rebuilds that ad for each size and each language. The layout is drawn again for the space it has.

  1. Rebuild the approved ad at every size

Upload the ad the client approved. Pick the sizes the campaign needs. Each size is built again from that picture, with the layout drawn for the new shape. The headline still sits in clear space in the square frame and in the tall one. You get one file per size, ready to check.

  2. Rebuild the same ad in each language

Paste the approved line for each market and run the same ad again. German text runs about 40 percent longer than the English it comes from. The layout is drawn again around that longer line. The words stay at a size people can read. Send each language to the person who approved the words.

  3. Make new versions of the ad that works

One approved ad is one idea. Run it through the variations template to get new versions of that idea. You get another background, another crop and another way of showing the product. Test them beside the original in your ad account. Keep the ones that do better.

  4. Run every size, language and product at once

A campaign with a whole product range repeats the same job many times. Batch takes your list of products, sizes and languages. It runs the whole list at once. It shows the cost before the run starts. You quote the client first. You come back to a folder of finished files.

Where the pictures go

  • Download the set. Upload each file in Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads and TikTok Ads Manager, one size per placement.
  • Send the language versions to the client, with the approved line beside each picture. The person who wrote the words can then check them in place.
  • Name each file by size and language, then keep the set in your asset folder. The next campaign starts from these files instead of from blank.

The same set for the next campaign

Save the sizes, the languages and the layout rules as a small app. The account manager runs it. They fill in one short form per campaign and press run. The set comes back in the same shapes as last month. Nobody in the studio moves a text box by hand again.

Questions

Will the ad still match the one the client approved?

Yes. Every size starts from the approved picture. The product, the colours and the words stay the ones the client agreed. What changes is where each part sits in the frame.

Who writes the translated line?

You do, or the client does. DesignerBox makes pictures and video. You supply the words. Paste the approved line for each market. The layout is drawn around it.

Can I use these pictures in paid client campaigns?

Yes. The commercial licence starts on the Pro plan.
