How to keep every client in their own look

Give each client their own brand record. Every new picture then reads that record. The work looks right in the shop, on social and in ads.

What you get

A tan leather handbag on a stone ledge in daylight
A teal drinks can with a yellow lemon mark on a bright orange background
A tan boucle lounge chair on a plain grey studio background
An amber supplement jar with a plain cream label on a pale pink plinth
Two green ceramic pet bowls in a wooden stand

How it works

You run several client accounts at once. Each one has its own colours, fonts and look. The look drifts when someone makes a picture quickly. Nobody checks it against the brand book. This recipe builds one brand record per client. Every new picture then reads that record. The client recognises the set as theirs, no matter who on your team made it.

  1. Read the colours and fonts from the client's logo

Upload the client's logo and add their website address. The template reads their colours and their fonts. It returns a brand kit you can check. Fix anything the brand book says differently. You do this once per client. You do not repeat it for every picture.

    Open the Brand kit template
  2. Save one brand record per client

Store each kit as its own brand record under the client name. Every run reads the record for the client you picked. The colours, the fonts and the light come from the right place. You no longer have to remember every client's rules.

Team features and shared brand kits are on the Ultra plan.

  3. Bring the old pictures into the current look

Most clients arrive with a folder of old pictures. Different people took them at different times. Run that folder through the style unifier against the client's record. Each picture keeps its subject. It takes the colours, the light and the crop you approved.

    Open the Style unifier template
  4. Make a new picture against the client's rules

Start from a product photo the client sent you. The template makes the new picture against that client's saved record. It sits beside the older set and does not look like another brand. Check it. Then send it to the client to approve.

    Open the On-brand photo template
  5. Save the steps as one workflow per client

Once a client's look is right, save the steps above as a workflow. Name it after the client. The next brief starts from that workflow instead of a blank page. Anyone on your team can run it and get the same look back.

Where the pictures go

  • Download the finished set. Upload it to the client's shop, on the product pages it belongs to.
  • Upload the same pictures to the client's social scheduler and their ad account. All three places then show one look.
  • Keep each client's approved set in its own folder. It is the reference you check the next brief against.

A client's whole range in one run

A client sends a whole range at once. Run the saved workflow over every product in one batch. Every picture reads the same brand record. You review one set in one pass, instead of opening each run on its own.

Questions

Can I keep two clients apart in the same account?

Yes. Each client has its own brand record. Every run reads the record you pick. Nothing from one client's record reaches another client's pictures.

Do the pictures go straight to the client's shop?

No. Connectors read your data. They do not write to it. You download the finished pictures. Then you upload them to the shop, the social account or the ad account.

What happens when a client changes their colours?

Update that client's brand record once. Then run the style unifier over the set you made before. The old pictures and the new ones match again.
